Site offline setting

Configuration page path: Main menu -> Site settings -> Site offline Settings

You can use this option to set your site to offline mode.

You can also specify a special offline notification that is displayed to people visiting your website when the site is set to offline mode.

Image:Tip.jpg	If you are moving your site to a new host turn your site offline from to old server when starting the move process and when the move is completed turn the site back online on the new location. This way there will be no dataloss durin the moving and dns propagation period.
